November Round Up
The best way to demonstrate how data is improving the lives of Londoners has been decided this month.
Discussions took place with clinical and digital colleagues from primary and secondary care representing all five London ICSs. Here it was decided that the best way to demonstrate success would be to seek funding for ICBs to develop full effector functionality with the capacity to serve local and national issues in primary care, secondary care and community and mental health care providers, supported by regional level evaluation capability.
The above finding was fed into a workshop on the business case which found that creating a converged environment scored highest on benefits. In terms of the financial case there was not a huge difference in cost of options, but the case has to be cognisant of setting each the financial ask for each ICS needs in local context and that transition costs still need to be discussed further. The next phase will now explore deliverability.
