Independent public and clinical representatives have recommended four data projects for London health systems to consider.
The latest LHDS Programme Delivery Board this month (May 2023) heard how members of the Independent Information Access Group, which is made up of clinical and public representatives from the five London health systems, considered 12 applications for the next round of Data at Scale Improvement Projects. These are projects would link data up across London to benefit patients.
Four projects on chronic kidney disease, diabetes, asthma and hard to diagnose cancers were recommended by the IIAG to go through to the specific London health systems to consider.
These four projects follow on from the four pathfinder projects which finished earlier this year, details of which can be found in the LHDS Annual Report to Citizens which is available online here.
